This symposium on dispersal will bring experts (3 japanese, 3 europeans) from the field. It will start by Ophélie Ronce (CNRS, France) and Masahiro Osakabe (Univ. Kyoto, Japan) on dispersal. Then Maria Navajas (INRA, France) will talk about genetic approach to dispersal and colonization in spider mites. Ryuji Uesugi (National Institute of Vegetable and Tea Science, Japan) will also speak about natural populations of spider mites. Finally Revynthi Alexandra (Univ. Amsterdam, The Netherlands) and Hatsune Otsuki (Univ. Kyoto, Japan) will talk on predation.
